2. NO Refunds & Cancellation Policy:

Exceptional cancellation policy. If Luis Nieves University (LNU) must cancel a scheduled educational service due to extraordinary circumstances or unforeseen events, you may choose one of the following:

Partial refund.
Reschedule the educational service.

All cancellations require LNU’s formal approval. Any refund issued will incur an administrative processing fee of $50 to $100, determined on a case-by-case basis. Once approved, please allow up to 30 calendar days for refund processing.

10. Certificate Issuance Policy

At Luis Nieves University (LNU), the issuance of certificates for course and program completion is governed by institutional policies and Puerto Rican law, ensuring academic accountability and preparing students for licensure.

Timeline for Certificate Delivery

Certificates are issued within 30 calendar days following successful completion of all program requirements.

Eligibility Requirements

To receive a certificate, the student must:

Complete and submit all required assignments with satisfactory performance.
Hold a zero balance on their student account.
Provide valid government-issued identification. Certificates will reflect the exact legal name listed on this ID.
Fulfill all academic standards as mandated by Rule 9101 of the Academic Standards, pursuant to Law 10 of 1994 of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

Digital Certificate Submission Instructions

Students must email a copy of their official ID to nievescerti@outlook.com to initiate certificate processing.
Certificates will be issued exclusively in digital format and sent only via email to the student’s registered address.

Notification & Correction Procedure

Students will be notified if any requirements are pending.
You must request corrections (like legal name updates) in writing.
When a written correction request is received, a new 30-calendar-day processing period applies.
Vacations, holidays, or administrative office closures may cause delays in processing. Students are advised to confirm office schedules before submitting requests.

Certificate Validity Period

Under legal requirements, certificates remain valid for two (2) years from the date of completion. After expiration, students may need to revalidate their credentials, depending on the licensing body's regulations.

Next Step: State Exam Enrollment

Upon receipt of the certificate, students may proceed to enroll in the Puerto Rico Real Estate Licensing Examination, which is available at https://revalidasonline.com.

Accreditation and Licensing

Luis Nieves University-LNMO Caribbean Corp. is accredited by the Department of State of Puerto Rico and the Board of Brokers, Salespersons, and Real Estate Schools.
LNU is authorized under License CA-76 to offer official preparatory programs for the Puerto Rico Real Estate Licensing Examination.
